Author Guidelines

 

Submission Preparation

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission complies with all of the following, and submitted manuscripts may be returned to authors who do not comply with these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published.
  2. The manuscript is free of plagiarism.
  3. The submission file is in Microsoft Word.
  4. The manuscript follows the editorial guidelines.

 

Manuscript Structure

  1. Title. The title should be clear and informative and should not be abbreviated and should not exceed 14 words.
  2. Author's name and institution. The author's name should not be abbreviated and should not use the title. Authors should include detailed institutional names and addresses including department, faculty, institution name and address. The author casts one of the authors as the corresponding author.
  3. Abstract and keywords. The abstract is written in both English and Indonesian, and should be between 150-175 words for each language version. The keywords should consist of 3 to 6 words or phrases.
  4. Introduction. This section describes the background of the study, a review of previous research, a gap analysis and the purpose of the study. The important point in this section is that the author should be able to demonstrate the importance and novelty of the research conducted.
  5. Methods. This section describes how the research was conducted. This section can consist of the method and number of samples, and the analytical tools used.
  6. Results. This section describes the results of the study. It should be presented clearly and concisely.
  7. Discussion. In this section, the authors discuss the results of the study and should be able to explore the novelty or contribution of the research in the literature according to the topic under study.
  8. Conclusion. This section summarizes and provides policy implications, if any, of the study. The conclusions should be in the same order as those discussed in the body of the manuscript.
  9. References. This section only lists literature sourced from journals, books, and other written materials cited in the body of the article. Authors are advised not to use references from unpublished research results.

 General Writing Format

  1. Manuscripts are prepared in A4 paper format, one column, and one and a half line spacing.
  2. New paragraphs should start 1 centimeter from the left margin, using font size 11, Times new Roman font type.
  3. Manuscripts are written in Indonesian or English
  4. The length of the manuscript should be between 15 to 20 pages.
  5. The top, bottom, left and right margins are 2.5
  6. The title is written using capital letters in each word except for connecting words, font size 12, center position.
  7. Subtitles are written using capital letters in each word except for connecting words, font size 12, starting from the left margin.
  8. Subtitles, if any, are written using capital letters only at the beginning of each word except for linking words, all of which are italicized. They should start from the left margin.
  9. References should be publications of the last ten years (>80%), except for primary references (80%). Referring to any textbook should be minimized (<20%).
  10. Writing references using APA Style and using Mendeley or Endnote referencing software is recommended.
  11. Acknowledgements, if any, should include funding agencies

 Tables and Figures. Tables should be presented as follows:

  1. Table names should follow the numbering system (Arabic numbering system). Table and figure titles are placed at the top and bottom, respectively.
  2. Tables and figures should provide the source of information, if any, at the bottom.
  3. Tables contain only rows of rows without column lines.
