Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of work discipline and training on employee performance at PT Bhakti Bhayakara DKI Jaya, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, namely using a sample of 60 respondents from the entire population. The data analysis techniques used are instrument testing, classical assumption testing, linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, hypothesis testing. The research results of work discipline have a significant partial effect on employee performance, shown by the simple linear regression equation Y = 26.223 + 0.358 X1, and a correlation coefficient of 0.501, meaning a moderate relationship. This was proven by the hypothesis test, which obtained a tcount value of 2,041 > ttable 1,671 and was strengthened by a ρ value < Sig.0.05 or significance < 0.05 (0.046 < 0.05). training has a significant effect on employee performance partially as shown by the simple linear regression equation Y = 25.891 + 0.368 X2. and a correlation coefficient of 0.501 means a moderate relationship. This is proven by the results of the hypothesis test which obtained a t value of 2.5332 < t table 1.671 and is strengthened by a value of ρ value < Sig.0.05 or a significance value < 0.05 (0.023 < 0.05). The research results of work discipline and training simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at PT Bhakti Bhayakara DKI Jaya as shown by the multiple linear regression equation Y = 20.883 + 0.228 X1 + 0.256X2. This is proven by the results of the hypothesis test which simultaneously obtained the Fcount value (9,564 > Ftable 3.16 and was strengthened by the significance value <0.05 (0.00 <0.05). The results of the coefficient of determination test for the compensation and work discipline variables gave an influence of 2, 51% of employee performance at PT Bhakti Bhayakara DKI Jaya. Thus H0 is accepted and H3 is rejected. This means that it is proven that there is no significant simultaneous influence between work discipline (X1) and training (X2) on employee performance (Y).
