Nowadays, job insecurity is something that is bothering the workforce, including honorary employees. Moreover, there is talk of eliminating honorary employees in government institutions. This research was conducted at the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) Pamarayan District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. Job insecurity as a condition of powerlessness to maintain desired continuity in threatened working conditions. Job insecurity refers to Hallgren & Rosenbaltt's theory, namely the insecurity felt by a worker regarding the continuation of work and important aspects related to the job itself. The approach used in this research is qualitative phenomenology. Interview observations and documentation were used as data collection media. There were 3 informants from honorary employees at the KUA Pamarayan District to be interviewed. The method of data triangulation and reduction of interview results was used to analyze the data. Based on the results of the research and analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the picture of insecurity among honorary KUA employees in Pamarayan District, Serang Regency, Banten Province, is: they feel that the work they are carrying out is very meaningful. Next, anxiety and restlessness began to emerge regarding his work. The focus on work has begun to decrease, even though there is a feeling of attachment between work and personal and community interests, and we have begun to anticipate other job alternatives if honorary employees are completely eliminated. There needs to be anticipation from the honorary employees as well as government policies to minimize the disappointment of the honorary employees.
